I am an experienced and certified teacher of both guitar and electric bass. I have a Masters Degree in music (majoring in jazz and improvisation) and have extensive experience teaching and playing both in Australia and abroad in many styles including jazz, blues, funk, rock and folk.
My philosophy of teaching is one of mutual understanding: each student takes lessons
with different goals and expectations. My goal is to understand the student’s motivations
and work with them to achieve their goals in the most efficient and effective manner.
I am also an advocate of learning music predominantly through listening to and playing

My basic rate is $50/hour lesson with discounts available for prepaid block bookings.
